2. Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how AMT‑TravelHealth accesses, collects, processes, stores, protects and shares information when you use the AMT‑TravelHealth website, mobile application or associated services.
It applies to information entered into destination, personal-health, exposure, preparedness and travel-risk assessment features.
AMT‑TravelHealth does not currently require users to create or sign into an account.
3. Information we process
Information you provide
Depending on the features you choose to use, you may provide:
- Travel destinations, dates, itinerary information and travel purpose
- Age range or other relevant demographic information
- General health and medical risk factors
- Vaccination and travel-preparedness information
- Pregnancy, mobility, immune-status or other health-related considerations
- Planned activities, accommodation and possible environmental exposures

You should not enter your name, NHS number, passport number, full medical record or other unnecessary identifying information into the travel-risk assessment.
Health information
Some answers may reveal information about your physical or mental health. Health information may qualify as special-category personal data under applicable data-protection law.
We process health-related answers only to provide the personal travel-risk assessment or related feature requested by you. We do not use health information for advertising.
Technical and usage information
When you use AMT‑TravelHealth, limited technical information may be processed automatically, including:
- Internet Protocol address
- Device type and operating system
- Browser type
- App version
- Language and regional settings
- Date and time of access
- Pages and features used
- Error, performance and security logs
- General usage and diagnostic information
We use analytics to understand how the service performs and which features are used. We configure analytics to minimise data collection and do not intentionally send users’ health-assessment answers to analytics providers.
4. How we use information
We use information to:
- Generate destination and personal travel-risk assessments
- Provide country, regional and local travel-health information
- Display relevant vaccination, malaria, outbreak and healthcare-resource information
- Operate, maintain and improve the service
- Diagnose technical problems and prevent fraud, misuse and security threats
- Understand aggregated usage and performance

- Meet legal, regulatory and Google Play requirements
We do not sell personal information.
We do not use personal health information for targeted advertising.
5. Lawful basis for processing
Where the UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we process ordinary technical and service information where necessary to provide the requested service and for our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving AMT‑TravelHealth.
Where information supplied by a user constitutes identifiable health information, we rely on the user’s explicit consent where required. Users may choose not to provide optional health information, although this may reduce the personalisation or accuracy of the resulting assessment.
Consent may be withdrawn by stopping use of the relevant feature and contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before consent was withdrawn.
6. Server and API processing
Information entered into the assessment is transmitted securely to AMT‑TravelHealth’s server or API infrastructure so that the requested rating, report or recommendation can be generated.
Because AMT‑TravelHealth does not require an account, assessment information is not intentionally maintained as a named longitudinal medical record.
AMT‑TravelHealth is not an electronic medical-record system and should not be used to store complete medical histories or patient-identifiable clinical information.
7. Automated assessments
AMT‑TravelHealth uses structured rules, data sources and automated calculations to produce destination and personal travel-risk ratings.
These outputs provide educational and decision-support information. They do not produce legal or similarly significant decisions and do not replace assessment by a qualified healthcare professional.
Users should seek appropriate professional advice before vaccination, malaria-prevention, medication or major travel decisions.
8. When information may be shared
Information may be processed by service providers that support AMT‑TravelHealth, including:
- Website, app and cloud-hosting providers
- Server and API infrastructure providers
- Security, performance-monitoring and error-diagnostic services
- Analytics providers
- Email or support-service providers
These providers may process information only as necessary to deliver their services and are expected to apply appropriate confidentiality and security protections.
We may also disclose information where legally required, to respond to a valid regulatory or court request, or where reasonably necessary to protect users, the public, AMT DIGITAL HEALTH LIMITED or our legal rights.
We do not sell users’ health or assessment information to third parties.
9. International processing
Some service providers may process technical information outside the United Kingdom.
Where legally required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy regulations, approved contractual protections or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
10. Data retention and deletion
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was processed.
Assessment answers are retained only for the period required to generate the requested result, maintain service integrity, investigate errors or satisfy applicable legal and security obligations. Information that is no longer required is deleted or de-identified where reasonably possible.
Technical logs and analytics information may be retained for a limited operational period or in aggregated form to support security, performance monitoring and service improvement.
AMT‑TravelHealth does not currently provide persistent user accounts. Therefore, there is no user account to delete.
Users may request deletion of information that can reasonably be identified as relating to them by emailing:
We may need sufficient information to locate and verify the relevant data. If information was submitted without an account or identifying details, we may be unable to associate it with a particular individual.
11. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information, including:
- Encrypted transmission using HTTPS
- Access controls
- Data minimisation
- Restricted administrative access
- Security and error monitoring
- Appropriate service-provider controls
No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. Users should avoid entering information that is unnecessary for the requested assessment.
12. Your data-protection rights
Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, you may have rights to:
- Request access to your personal information
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion

If we learn that personal information about a child has been processed contrary to this policy or applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
14. External sources and links
AMT‑TravelHealth may link to government authorities, public-health agencies, healthcare providers, hospitals and other external websites.
Those services operate under their own privacy policies. AMT DIGITAL HEALTH LIMITED is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of independent third-party websites.
15. Medical and emergency information
AMT‑TravelHealth is an educational and travel-risk decision-support service. It does not provide emergency medical care and does not replace personalised advice from a doctor, travel-health clinic or other qualified professional.
In a medical or travel emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency service.
